We are calling all young performers of Glebe and the Inner West to bring their voices, instruments, bands and dancing feet. Show off your talent on the Busking for Barnardos stage and busking spots at the Glebe Street Fair.
Young singers, musicians, dancers, magicians and more aged 6-18 years, in groups or solo, are all welcome. We have some great prizes on offer for:
best individual and group performances in each age group
best novelty or outside-the-box performances
best street buskers and fundraisers
and lots of encouragement awards!

Making beautiful music is one of life's great pleasures.
Let me help you get there....
Adults have a tendency to say, "It’s too late". Nevertheless, it is never too late. One of my adult students, who just turned 85, recently took up the guitar and he is enjoying it immensely! You do not have to be a virtuoso to enjoy playing classical or popular music on the instrument of your choice! You will find that studying an instrument will feed your spirit. It is always exciting to try something new. Moreover, as far as practicing, 10-20 minutes a day 5-6 days a week is fine in order to see noticeable improvement. Adults will appreciate and enjoy music lessons from a completely new perspective that they did not have as a child. It is never too late to start!
